Mission Team 2006:
On April 29th, we had the privilege of having two visitors from Romania and Moldova, come to the US. Viorel, Phillip Cameron’s right hand man and the translator for the mission team and George, the Director of the Cupcui orphanage in Moldova.

This was George’s first visit to the United States. George and Vio were taken to dinner with the mission team on Saturday night. They spent the night and then attended church services Sunday morning. During the service George shared a part of what a change has been made at the orphanage since “God sent Phillip and Randy to the orphanage”. George gave testimony to the church’s offerings being a blessing to the children of the Cupcui orphanage. Following church services, George reported that the services were very good and that it was very different from the type of church he has attended previously. George and Vio were both thankful for the love offering the church presented to them and expressed their appreciation.

While at NBFWC, they also had time to see part of the Kids on the Rock services as well. We hope this allowed them to see that we believe all children need to know the love of God no matter where they live.

This visit allowed the team to spend some time hearing about how needs are being met through our partnership with Phillip Cameron, some future needs our team can assist with as well as just fellowship with two of the people that play such a large role in the life of the children who live in the orphanage.

We are thankful for the time George and Vio took out of their trip to the US to visit our church. It is great to get to hear about how God is working in Moldova. Continue to pray the hearts of the children there are softened and ready for the gospel when it is presented to them. Jesus can do mighty things!

Serving for Him,
Kristi
